Unique in Australia, Inner City Winemakers is within walking distance of Newcastle’s CBD and beautiful working harbour. Here locals and visitors alike can sample our unique range of wines at our cellar door and winery.
All our staff have had an active role in the creating of the wines all the way from blending the wine styles to creating the label design so we all share the same passion in what we do.
We are open for wine sales and tastings Wednesday to Sunday 10am ’til 5pm. Inner City Winemakers is also a venue for Art Exhibitions as well as musical evenings.

Awabakal’s Medical Service is an Aboriginal community controlled health service, which aims to deliver culturally appropriate primary health care services, advocacy and social and emotional support to Aboriginal people and their families residing in our service delivery area.

Awabakal Aged Care Services is a comprehensive program that offers quality services to our community.
Awabakal Aged Care Services staff will work with you to develop what is known as ‘My Story’. This will include asking questions about your family, your history and your health.
This is where you are able to discuss what is important to you, any worries you have about your health, what you might need to help improve your day to day life and what kind of support you need.
Based on your story, Awabakal will help with building a 'plan' for you. This plan will be tailored to your individual needs and will incorporate the services you will require.
Preschool
Awabakal Preschool strives to provide a culturally appropriate and supportive learning environment where children have the opportunity to explore and experience new things.
Preschool is a fun place to be for children and our dedicated staff ensure relationships are established with all children and families from the start. We believe that genuine, caring relationships are the key to nurturing young children's positive self-esteem and identity.
Playgroup
Playgroup is a great place to meet new people and spend some quality time with your children as they participate in stimulating activities alongside other children.
Awabakal operates several supported playgroups for children aged 0 - 6 years and their parents/carers across various locations in Newcastle, the Hunter and Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens.
